Dubai's Terry Fox Run

Last hosted in 2013, the Dubai Terry Fox Run made a wonderful return to Dubai in February 2017. Undeterred by the rainy morning, thousands showed up to support this important run for cancer research.  Special guest Judith Fox - Terry's sister - made the trip from Canada to support the day.  

Seeing the crowds decked out in their navy blue t-shirts and cheering on the cause made the months of planning feel incredibly worth the effort.   

Down to the last drop...

It seems strange that Geoff adores coffee (drinking multiple cups a day) and Beth has never actually had a cup of coffee.

So, inspired by the delightful aromas and backdrop of the Nespresso in Dubai Mall, we pulled up a seat at the bar counter and enjoyed a small cup.

The vanilla latte was quite tasty but it will be a while before the intensity of regular coffee appeals...

Dubai Aces It

Due to crammed work and travel schedules, we had only one day to head to the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Tournament. But it turned out to be a great one. Watching Angelique Kerber showcase her incredible skills was exciting...and very motivating!
