Before heading back to Dubai for a new role that will keep us a little more stationary, we stopped in NYC for a long weekend catch-up with friends. An early morning flight and small carry-on luggage (which could be conveniently stowed in a US Open-sanctioned luggage van!) allowed the six of us to arrive at the US Open tennis tournament before match play started for the day.
A full day of tennis (completing our Grand Slam cycle!), multiple great meals, a visit to the 911 Memorial & Museum, a walk along the Highline and through Chelsea Market... and only one reprimand for not meeting the dress code at our Club affiliate hotel - the reunion was the perfect send-off before settling down.
